ShopKado (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a consumer e-commerce marketplace operated by EXPORTAGEX EXPORTS LLP, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or shop on shopkado.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you browse, register, or place an order on ShopKado, we may collect:

  • Contact and account details: name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored encrypted) when you create an account.
  • Order and delivery details: billing and shipping address, city, pincode, and the products you order.
  • Payment information: ShopKado does not collect or store your card, UPI, or net banking credentials. All payments are processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay, under its own PCI-DSS compliant systems. We only receive confirmation of payment success or failure and a transaction reference ID.
  • Communications: details you submit through our Contact Us form, email, or WhatsApp support, including any photos/videos you share for order or product issues.
  • Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies (see Section 4).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfil your orders, including payment confirmation, packing, and delivery.
  • To communicate with you about your order status, shipping updates, cancellations, returns, and refunds.
  • To provide customer support and respond to queries submitted via our Contact Us page.
  • To send order-related notifications and, where you have opted in, promotional emails or WhatsApp updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To improve our website, product catalogue, and shopping experience.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
  • To comply with applicable Indian laws, including tax and consumer protection requirements.

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with trusted third parties strictly to operate our business:

  • Payment processing: Razorpay, to securely process online payments.
  • Logistics and courier partners: to deliver your order to the address you provide.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms: Google (Analytics, Ads, Merchant Center) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads), which may use cookies or similar technologies to measure site performance and show relevant ads. See Section 4 for details.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities: where required by Indian law or a valid legal request.

ShopKado uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and wishlist, and understand how visitors use our site. We use analytics and advertising cookies from Google and Meta to measure traffic and personalise ads.
